(Q)  Is God pleased with our lifestyle in today’s world?

(A)  Our world is in complete chaos. Do you know why? I am going to show you the major reason.  Proverbs 16:7: When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Obviously, most of the world, especially the USA, is not pleasing God. Romans 5:12 says Wherefore, as by one man, sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so, death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. II Thessalonians 2:10 says: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Sin is the problem!  Colossians 2:22: Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Most people are following the doctrines of men and are being deceived. Why? Revelation 12:9: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

II Corinthian 11:13-15: ¹³ For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. ¹⁴And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. ¹⁵Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. II Corinthians 4:4: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Folks, Satan is using the ministers in our churches to deceive you.

If you don’t want to be deceive, then you need to study the Bible for yourself. II Timothy 2:15 says: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. All God’s word is true, but He says you must RIGHTLY DIVIDE HIS TRUTH to find out His truth for us today. In the O.T. the nation of Israel was under the law for salvation, but today we are under grace for salvation.

Israel will inherit the earth, but today, God has started a new heavenly program through the Apostle Paul called the dispensation of the grace of God; see Ephesians 3:1-9., Paul is our pattern for salvation; see I Timothy 1:15-16. All who have lived for the last two thousand years will be judged by Paul’s gospel, Romans 2:16 says: In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. There is more than one gospel in the Bible, but we shall be judged by Paul’s gospel given to him by Christ Jesus to give to us.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Good works have no merit for salvation.

Ephesians 1:13 says: In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. You must believe the gospel to be saved. The gospel is in I Corinthians 15:1-4: ¹ Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;² By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. ³ For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; ⁴And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: You must believe this Truth or pay the consequence for sin not forgiven.                 

Romans through Philemon are the books to read if you are looking to please God, for in these books we find the truth of God for today. These books are for our doctrine and our obedience because we are living in the dispensation of God’s grace which was given to the Apostle Paul to give to us, See Ephesians 3: 1-9. We must have a love for God’s truth to please Him. Read these books and you will find God’s truth for all living today. The rest of the Bible is also God’s truth, but they are not for our doctrine because these books are about keeping the law for salvation and was given to the Jewish nation of Israel.
