(Q) IS YOUR GOD REAL? MINE IS!

(A) Those that claim to know the real God, we ask; are you worshipping and serving an unknown
God today? Any worship and service today that is not motivated by the love of God, and based
upon the finished work of Christ, as He is revealed in the Gospel of Christ as proclaimed by the
apostle Paul, is not of God: but is of this world system of religion, and is contrary to the Reality
of the Godliness, or right reverence, which is manifested in the Person and the “preaching of
Jesus Christ” among the Nations “according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept
secret since the world began,” Romans 16:25-26. Therefore we urge you to study God’s Word in
order to know how to worship and serve him today. And ponder these words of the apostle Paul,
in II Corinthians 4:3-6:

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world [Satan]
hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of
Christ, Who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but
Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, Who commanded
the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge
of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Image of God. He and He alone is the true object of worship. Any
worship that is done apart from Him is unacceptable to God. Any worship that is done by any
means other than through Him is unacceptable to God. Any ordinance, any ritual, any
sacrament, any altar, any shrine, anything that man does devise as an aid to worship, or a form
of worship, stands between you and God. Any worship that is performed by any of these means
denies 1 Timothy 2:5, which states; “There is one God, and one mediator between God

and men, the man Christ Jesus;” and is therefore unacceptable to God. Anything that stands
between you and your God; be it an ordinance or an object, a sacrament or a symbol, a ritual or a
relic; takes on the character of a mediator and usurps the authority of the REAL and only
mediator, the Lord Jesus Christ. These things are not of God, but are all of this world system of
evil which is under the rule of Satan, the god of this age, who, through these ritual mediators, is
diverting to himself the worship which ought to be properly directed to God. Therefore anyone
who is attempting to worship God through any of these means is ignorantly worshipping an
unknown God. Their God is NOT REAL to them. It is by these means that” the god of this
world” has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, “lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
Who is the image of God, should shine unto them” II Corinthians 4:4.

“As we have received mercy, we faint not; but have renounced the hidden things of
dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the Word of God deceitfully; but by
manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to everyman‘s conscience in the sight of
God.” II Corinthians 4:1-2

Yes! By the grace of God which is in Christ Jesus my Lord, I can truly say; MY GOD IS
REAL!
