Scriptures are from the KJV of the Bible
(Q) I have heard it said “there are many ways to Heaven”, is that a true statement?
(A) No,absolutely not! Why do I say that? Well let’s see what our Bible has to say about that statement. Let’s look at Acts 4:10-12
10: Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11: This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
The above scriptures show that Jesus Christ is the one and only way to Salvation. We can also look at Acts 16:28-31
28: But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
29: Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
30: And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
1 Timothy 2: 3-7 is saying the same thing; that there is only one way to Heaven.
3: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4: Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6: Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7: Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
We could point to many other scriptures to prove that there is only one way to heaven, and not many ways, but let me show a few more verse’s from 2 Timothy 3: 15-17 to finish up:
15: And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
When the Bible says there is only one name under heaven whereby we must be Saved, Christ Jesus is that person! All prophesy in the Bible has been proven to be 100% correct, and the whole Bible is completely trust worthy as it says in the above verses.
