Rightly dividing the Word of truth

This is part 25 in a series of 53 articles about RIGHTLY DIVIDING GOD’S WORD OF TRUTH. All scripture quoted will be from the King James Bible.

In part 25, we continue with the new heavenly program.

I left off in part 24 showing that today, we need to be following the instruction given to Paul, because they are the commandments of the Lord for all people today. In Old Testaments times, all the Jewish people were required to obey the commandments given to them through Moses: Deuteronomy 4:1-2:  Moses speaking say’s: 1Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. 2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I (Moses) command you. Deuteronomy 4:12-14: 12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. 13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. 14 And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.

Both Paul and Moses were given commandments from the Lord to give to the people during the time they lived in. Moses under the law, and Paul under grace, but the instructions given to them were different.

Anyone reading these articles must pay special attention to this next scripturein Romans 2:16: 16In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Paul is telling us when we die, all people who have lived under the new heavenly program, are going to be judged by Christ Jesus, according to Paul’s epistles, or Paul’ gospel, which is different from the gospel given to the twelve apostles under the law. Make no mistake about it, don’t put your trust in any other gospel then the one given to Paul for your salvation. Later, I will be giving you the gospel given by God, to Paul, to give to us who are under the grace, or heavenly program for today.

If you have been following these articles, you should remember I talked about the gospel of the uncircumcision which was committed unto (Paul), as the gospel of the circumcision was given unto (Peter).  The circumcision gospel given to Peter was under the law, the earthly program, whereas the uncircumcision gospel given to Paul, is under the new heavenly program, or the gospel of grace.

The Bible does not teach the ‘one gospel’ theory. only theologians teach it. The Bible does not use the phrase ‘one gospel.’ only theologians use it. The Bible does not teach that God has revealed the same gospel message for all the dispensations of time. Rather, it is just the reverse. God has revealed different messages of ‘good news’ to mankind during certain periods of time, as He has willed. These messages are not to be mixed up or to be constituted as parts of one gospel. They were taken at face value at the
time they were revealed.
