Rightly dividing the Word of Truth. Part 52
Rightly dividing the Word of truth.
This is part 52 in a series of 53 articles about RIGHTLY DIVIDING GOD’S WORD OF TRUTH. All scripture quoted will be from the King James Bible.
Part 52, we learn that Christ is the one mediator between God and men.
God wants to save all, but you have been given free will to make your own choice. You need to study God’s Word yourself. God has provided the one and only means of salvation.
Acts 4:10-12: 10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
I Timothy 2:4-5: 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:18: 18For through Him (Christ), we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Folks, do you understand what the scripture means when it says Christ is the one mediator between God and men? This is very important, because a lot of people put someone else between God and men when they pray. Are you trying to pray to God the Father through another mediator? God says Christ is the one and only mediator. If you think you are reaching God through some other mediator, I can tell you unequivocally, God does not hear your prayer!
We can also learn from John 14:6 which says: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Christ is the ONE, and ONLY mediator between God and men, and He is Savior of the world.
Titus 3:5-7: 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Before I conclude these articles about “Rightly dividing the Word of truth,” I have a few other things I would like to discuss, and for you to consider.
I realize the things I have written about in these articles, are not popular with any of our main line churches. The things I wrote about are contrary to all main line teaching. To be honest, I don’t care to discuss who is right or wrong about these issues; what I care about is the truth. The Bible is where we find God’s truth, not what men teach. A big problem today, is that a lot of ministers don’t even believe the Bible is true or accurate. What a shame! ——– To be continued
