Salvation (Part 4)

So how do we receive this FREE GIFT FROM GOD? Simple; look at the book of 1 Corinthians 15:3,4; again Paul is talking, “For I delivered unto you First of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures;and that HE WAS BURIED, and that HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY according to the Scriptures.” Believe!!

What this is telling us is that we need to stop trying to please God by our works, and start TRUSTING what CHRIST( DID)FOR US. We need to put 100% BELIEF, FAITH, and TRUST in what Christ did for us ,and 0% in what we think we can do to help ourselves attain Salvation.

Lets look at the book of Romans 3:24,25,26, which states , “Being justified FREELY by his Grace through the Redemption that is in CHRIST JESUS: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation ( appeasement ) through FAITH IN HIS BLOOD (CHRIST ) to declare HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS for the REMISSION OF SINS that are past, through the forbearance (patience) of God; To declare , I say , at this time HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS: that HE might be just, and the justifier of him which BELIEVETH IN JESUS.” One more verse in Colossians 1:14 states, “ In whom we have REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS ( CHRIST ) BLOOD even the FORGIVENESS OF SIN’S”.

As I close now I hope you can see that ETERNAL LIFE is a FREE GIFT from GOD,by HIS Grace because you HAVE put your FAITH in CHRIST shed BLOOD(alone); and nothing you do except to BELIEVE what he did on your behalf. One more thing to think about is that Head knowledge of all these things that we have talked about WILL NOT SAVE ANYONE; ONLY A TRUE SINCERE, HEART FELT BELIEF WILL SAVE YOU!! Remember this verse in the Book of Hebrews 11:6, “But without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE HIM”(GOD). 

When you First Believe the Gospel Of Your Salvation God tell us we are Sealed by the Holy Spirit. See Ephesians 1:13 and 14; “In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the Word of Truth the Gospel of your SALVATION in whom also after that you BELIEVED you were Sealed with that Holy Spirit of Promise, Which is the Earnest ( Guarantee ) of our Inheritance until the Redemption of the Purchased Possession, unto the praise of HIS (GOD’S ) GLORY.”

You have free will; I hope you make the Right Choice. 11 Corinthians 6:2 say’s( in the last part of the verse) “Now is the accepted time; behold, Now is the day of SALVATION. 11 Corinthians 5:20 again say’s ,“Now then we are Ambassadors For Christ , as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ’s stead, BE YOU RECONCILED TO GOD”.

BELIEVE; and you shall receive the FREE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE!!
