(Q)   What happens after death?

(A)  Warning: You will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire If you are not 100% correct about what it takes to be with God in heaven after you die. God does not compromise, you do it God’s way or you will be sorry for eternity.

I have heard the statement made by sincere people who say “there are many ways that lead to heaven.” Do not be deceived, there is only one way, and one way only that leads to eternal life in heaven with the One True God of the universe. No matter where you live in the world or whatever you have been taught to believe about religion and God; drop your prideful attitude, and get on your knees, and seek the one true living God. If you sincerely seek the TRUE LIVING GOD and ask for His help, He will hear you and help you to understand the one and only way to have a right relationship with Him.

Remember, God is not a respecter of persons or religion. Your religious affiliation is of no importance to a Holy God. Everyone must be reconciled to God and receive His righteousness before you can stand in His presence in heaven. Being a part of Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Confucianism, Christianity or any other religion around the world will not reconcile you to this Holy God. Think about it, there are thousands of different churches around the world and they all teach something different. They all cannot be right. God is not the author of confusion.

Personally, I do not put any trust in any man made religion, or any physical organization that calls itself a church. However, I am a member of the one true spiritual church which resides in heaven.

You, as a reader of this article may not like what I am saying here, but I have a job to do, and that is to tell you the truth. It does not make any difference if you agree with me or not, because that will not change the facts concerning what happens after death.

The Christian Bible is the only place to get the real facts about the subject of death. How do I know the Christian Bible is true and accurate? The Christian Bible can be tested — historically, geographically, scientifically, etc. And it always passes the test. Its incredible accuracy can be explained only in light of its divine inspiration.

Unique among all books ever written, the Bible accurately foretells specific events-in detail-many years, sometimes centuries, before they occur. Approximately 2,500 prophecies appear in the pages of the Bible, about 2,000 of which already have been fulfilled to the letter—no errors- 100% accurate.

(The remaining 500 or so reach into the future and may be seen unfolding as days go by.) Since the probability for any one of these prophecies having been fulfilled by chance averages less than one in ten (figured very conservatively) and since the prophecies are for the most part independent of one another, the odds for all these prophecies having been fulfilled by chance without error is less than one in 102000(that is 1 with 2,000 zeros written after it)!

Who wrote the Bible? The Bible was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit by over 40 different authors from all walks of life: shepherds, farmers, tent-makers, physicians, fishermen, priests, philosophers and kings. Despite these differences in occupation and the span of years it took to write it, the Bible is an extremely cohesive and unified book.

 When was the Bible written? It was written over a period of some 1,500 years, from around 1450 B.C. (the time of Moses) to about 100 A.D. (following the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ).

The acid test for identifying a prophet of God is recorded by Moses in Deuteronomy 18:21-22. According to this Bible passage (and others), God’s prophets, are distinct from Satan’s spokesmen, and are 100 percent accurate in their predictions, no exceptions. God always brings to pass what He has predicted to happen in the future.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               What happens after death depends on what you sincerely believe about Jesus Christ. Who was Jesus Christ to you? Was He only a man, was He God in the flesh, was He a prophet, was He just a fable, do you believe there really is a God?

If you believe there is a God, do you believe God when He says there is only one way to salvation?

Acts 4:10-12: 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

If you call yourself a Christian, can you describe what makes a person a Christian? Do you believe you are a Christian because you are a member of the Catholic Church, the Lutheran Church, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Baptist, Methodist, Nazarene, United Church of Christ, Christian & Missionary Alliance, Assembly of God, Salvation Army, Foursquare Gospel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or any other protestant denomination; if so you are being deceived!  Being a member of any of the above, or any other physical organization on the face of the earth does not make you a “True Christian.”

What about water baptism, confirmation, keeping holy days, tithing, church attendance, doing good works, keeping the Ten Commandments, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, taking communion, confessing you sins to a priest; will any of these things make you a True Christian? NO, absolutely not!!

What then makes a True Christian fit for eternity in heaven?

Romans 3:20-28:  20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Ephesians 1:7: In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 2:8-9: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Galatians 2:16:   16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 2:21:  21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

The next four verses from 1 Corinthians explain what we MUST BELIEVE for our salvation:

I Corinthians 15:1-4:  1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

When you believe the gospel in the four verses above, sincerely from your heart, you will be reconciled to God, and you will receive the righteousness of Christ by faith, and you will be eternally secure in His eternal care.

Ephesians 1:13-14:  13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest (Guarantee) of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

You cannot ever lose you salvation once you have it! What happens after death for you as a believer? You go instantly into the presence of God in heaven forever and ever.

What happens to all unbelievers at their death? They will go to hell, and eventually at the time of their judgement, will end up in the lake of fire forever and ever, with no hope.

These things are not speculation on my part, but facts taken from the Christian King James Bible; God’s perfectly preserved words for all English speaking people.

Have a good day,
Maranatha (Lord Come)
John
