What’s one thing that’s more deadly than the coronavirus?

(Q) What’s one thing that’s more deadly than the coronavirus?
(A) Before answering the above question, I would like to show you that God has a 7,000 plan for mankind. Most people-even Christians-have never heard about God’s 7,000-year plan for mankind. This great plan is pictured by the seven-day week. As Genesis shows, God refashioned the earth and created all life forms in six days and then rested on the seventh day. God also gave man six days in which to work, followed by a day of rest (Exodus 20:8-11). On the seventh day, man was instructed to put aside his normal routine of daily activities and worship the true God (Isaiah 58:13-14). This was all under the law given to the Jewish nation of Israel.
Why is the above information important? Because we are in the last days of the end time.
The apostle Peter undoubtedly understood that the seven-day week is a pattern that applies to time on a far grander scale. He writes, “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing,) that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (II Peter 3:8. The apostle Paul also had this principle in mind when he explains that the seventh day of the week pictures the peaceful time of rest that will follow this present age of human activity (Hebrews 4:3-11). The apostle John tells us that this period will occur after Christ’s intervention in world affairs and that it will last a thousand years (Revelation 20:1-4). This period is commonly called the “Millennium.”
Since the seventh day of the week symbolizes 1,000 years of peace under the rule of Jesus Christ, the first six days of the week represent 6,000 years in which man has been allowed to govern himself and work out his own ideas and plans. In other words, each day of the week represents 1,000 years of human existence.
Where are we now in this great plan? Charts which list biblical events in time order (these can be found in some Bibles) are accurate enough to show that human life was created about 4,000 years before the first coming of Christ. History makes it clear that roughly another 2,000 years have elapsed since then, making a total of nearly 6,000 years of human civilization to date. In short, man’s “week” is nearly over. We are at the end of the 6,000 years allotted to man. The coronavirus could be the beginning of sorrows as described in the book of Matthew which will be followed be the seven- year tribulation period before the millennium starts.
However, the Bible also tells us that at the end of this 6,000- year rule by man on the earth, God will Rapture away all believers to meet Christ in the air and He will escort them back to heaven before the tribulation starts.. The tribulation will be a horrible time to go through. All who are in unbelief at the time of the rapture will be left behind to experience this terrible time of trouble because they had not put their trust in Christ Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins. The purpose of the tribulation then is to give the unsaved, seven more years to turn their lives around and come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior, who alone can forgive their sins.
So now, as the entire world battles the coronavirus pandemic, there is a much greater threat affecting every single person on this planet.
Its infection rate is 100%.
There is no length of social distancing or any face mask that can prevent you from catching it.
There’s no need to be tested, because you’ve got it already.
Not only do you yourself have it, so do your parents, spouses, children, siblings, friends, enemies, colleagues and neighbors.
No matter how many times you sing “Happy Birthday” while washing your hands with soap and hot water, you can’t wash away this catastrophic pathogen.
Drenching yourself in hand sanitizer or not touching your face has no impact.
The medical profession has no vaccine for this condition, and there is a 100% chance that you will die from it.
You may already know that you suffer from this condition, but now’s the perfect time to remind everyone of this disastrous state, along with the fact there is a certain cure, a cure which scientific researchers will never develop on their own.
The calamitous condition from which we all suffer is called mortality. All living human beings will eventuality die because we are all mortal beings.
We’re all dying from the moment we’re born in our bodies of flesh and blood.
No matter what nutritious foods we ingest, no matter how many vitamins we take, no matter what kind of medicines we employ, we cannot stop the inevitable fact that we’re all going to die. This is the bad news.
But wait, there is also good news. The best news you could ever hear, in fact, and its news you’ll probably never hear on any of the major broadcast networks or on the front page of big-name newspapers such as the New York Times or Washington Post.
The good news is that you were not meant to be mortal forever living in a huama body. That’s correct. You have been created by God with the intention that you’ll be able to live forever, without any sickness or disease. You’re meant to be free from the prison of your own physical body, free from fears of coronavirus or any other pandemic, and live worry-free for all eternity.
We all have a physical body, but believe or not, we also have a soul and a human spirit. The body will die, but the soul and human spirit continue to live on after the death of our bodies. The soul and human spirit are already immortal, but where will you spend your eternity? Heaven or the lake of fire? If you want to live with God for eternity, then you must choose life now before your physical body dies.
This is a message about life and death. We’re in a life-and-death war every single day, and the good news is that we can overcome death, overcome our own mortality, if we follow the proper instructions that God gives us in the Bible.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, or a change of mind, II Peter 3:9.
To live and be with God in heaven when your body dies, you must have already become a true Christian believer and have God’s Holy Spirit dwelling within you, combined with your soul and human spirit.
Even if we take a hasty glance at the Bible, the source of truth irrespective of whether you believe it, we can see this amazing good news plastered everywhere.
As Paul famously said:
“Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor can corruption inherit incorruption. … the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be CHANGED. For this corruptible body must be clothed with incorruptibility, and this MORTAL BODY must be clothed with IMMORTALITY,” (1 Corinthians 15:50-53.
We need to understand that everyone on this planet, until they come to their Creator God, is like a walking corpse, like the zombies on “The Walking Dead” TV series. Jesus Himself said as much, referring to people who think they’re alive, but as unbelievers they are “THE WALKING DEAD.”
The true saving message for today is found in I Corinthians 15:1-4 whichsays: Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
Also, Ephesians 2:8-9 says: 8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. Today, we are not under the law given to Israel, but under God’s grace.
We are saved by God’s grace today when we believe the gospel, not of any works we do, but just believe the gospel and God will accept you into His eternal family in heaven with IMMORTALITY for ever and ever.
May you have a blessed day,
John
