(PART THREE)

(Q)  Why Paul? Are Paul’s teachings any different from what the 12 Apostles taught?

(A) At the end of Part Two we learned that everything Christ taught in the flesh were directed to the Jewish nation of Israel, not the Gentiles. Matthew 10:5-6: 5These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Again in Matthew 15:24 Christ told a Gentile Woman: 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

We see in the scriptures above, that Christ was only sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. This was the ministry of Christ while He was on the earth; it was only to the Jewish nation of Israel. If a Gentile wanted to be saved during this time, they would need to become a Proselyte, which means they had to convert to Judaism.

So what was the message that the Twelve Apostles were given to preach while Christ was here on the earth?

The Twelve Apostles were sent by Christ to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, Luke 9:1-6:  1 Then He called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2 And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. 3 And He said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. 4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. 5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. 6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere.

The above commission was given by Christ to the Twelve Apostles on earth. The Twelve Apostles were assigned to administer this program. It reached out to the Jew first. It involved the Gospel of the kingdom. It offered an earthly, kingdom hope. It had physical and spiritual blessings on earth. Water baptism was required. A Jewish kingdom church was being formed. Signs and wonders were given to facilitate the outreach of this commission. It was entirely in accordance with prophecy.

However, The Gospel of Grace was first given to the Apostle Paul by Christ from glory. There is only one Apostle-the Apostle Paul-to administer this program. There is no difference between Jews and Gentiles. Paul’s Gospel is the Gospel of Grace, Ephesians 3:1-9: 1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: 3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. 8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Today, we have a heavenly hope and calling. We have no earthly blessings but rather all spiritual blessings in the heavenlies. Water baptism has ceased, and we are to guard the one spiritual baptism of Ephesians 4:4-5: 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism.

After Jesus was already water baptized by John the Baptist in Matthew 3:13-17, He later says in Matthew 20:22-23: 22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. In these verses, Jesus is telling James and John, that He has another baptism to be baptism with. Jesus was talking about His soon coming death at the cross. There would not be any water involved with this baptism! He would be baptized unto death!

This is why today, we are not baptized with water, but baptized spiritually just like Jesus was at the cross unto death. No water here!!

Colossians 2:12: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Today, when we first believe the Gospel given to Paul; it’s like we were at the cross with Christ, and we were buried with Christ in baptism, and we will be raised through the faith of the OPERATION OF GOD. There was no water at the cross; this is the one spiritual baptism of Ephesians 4:5 quoted above. This spiritual baptism is by the operation of God, not by man!

Under the Gospel of grace given to Paul, there is now no difference between the Jew and the Gentile as there was under the commission given to the Twelve Apostles, Galatians 3:27-28: 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek (Gentile), there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. I Corinthians 12:13: 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Remember what Christ said in Matthew 10:5-6: 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Under the gospel of the kingdom, while Christ was on the earth He told the Twelve Apostles to stay away from the Gentiles, but after Christ died and ascended back to Heaven in glory, He gave Paul the new Gospel of Grace, and now there is no difference between the Jew and Gentile.

Most churches today teach that there is no difference between the message of the Twelve, and the message that Paul taught, but as you can see from the scriptures I have quoted so far, there is a BIG difference. The Twelve and Paul did not teach the same Gospel! Galatians 2 will help shed more light on this subject.

Galatians 2:6-9: 6 But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:  7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me (Paul), as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; 8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) 9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the “heathen” (GENTILES), and they unto the “circumcision”, (THE JEWS).

Galatians 2:6-9 quoted above, unquestionable tells us that there are at least two distinct Gospels in the Bible. One is the Gospel of the CIRCUMCISION given to Peter, and the Twelve Apostles, and the second one is the Gospel of the UNCIRCUMCISION given ONLY to the Apostle Paul. You need to understand this distinction, because ONLY the Gospel given to Paul (who is our Apostle today), can save you or reconcile you back to God through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. The Gospel given to Peter cannot save anyone today! The Gospel given to Peter has been temporarily set aside, because it was all about law keeping. Today, as I said before, we are saved by GRACE ALONE.

How do I know for certain that the Gospel given to Peter is not for us today?  Romans 2:16: 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to “my gospel,” (PAUL’S GOSPEL). CHRIST HIMSELF REVELED THE GOSPEL OF GRACE GIVEN TO PAUL TO GIVE TO US; and everyone for the last two thousand years will be judged only by the Gospel given to Paul!

Galatians 1:6-8: 6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

It’s time to wake up and take these things seriously!! Your salvation depends on it!!

Exactly. I’ve always doubted the credibility of Paul and I’m now slowly uncovering a lot of discrepancies in his doctrine. Yesterday I was reading Hebrews and got annoyed by Paul keep referring to our Messiah as simply a High Priest who was created a little lower than the angels but now since he died as each human needs to die anyway He was promoted to the level of angels something like that. Another part same Hebrews he was saying the old covenant and its ordinances was done away with, can you believe it? That is why Christianity believe they don’t have to convert to Jewish behavior and so can keep their pagan feasts but just UNITE with the Jews as they are. The first red flag to me came when the 12 didnt really click with him, he often argued I think Timothy and them, he was once in Jerusalem for 3weeks and only Peter bothered to see him even for just 2weeks. When the Messiah was choosing a replacement for Juda He didn’t even hint about Paul but Paul goes around saying he’s an apotle too, so ridiculous. Paul’s name is not even in the foundation stones of the New Jerusalem as per Ezekiel vision. No one wants to hear me when I point out my doubts about Paul’s doctrine and Paul’s credibility as a whole. I just think he was hired by the Romans as an attack to the Messiah doctrine since they got defeated through His death and resurrection.

        ROHNY,
I don’t know where you got the Idea that we need works for salvation. You better read the article again. I teach salvation is without works today, Ephesians 2:8-9. I wrote many articles that works only applied to Israel who were under the law.

I am studying this same thing in my PH.D Bible College course. I am glad I found that this confirms what I am reading is true. It has been right before my eyes for decades. I now know why the miracles that the Apostles did back then are not being done now. The Jews seeks a sign so the Kingdom message needed signs and wonders. We are under the message of grace where we walk by faith and not by sight. Thank you for this Illumination Teaching..Dr. Darrell Tolbert

      Lisa,
Please read my article about homosexuality. You can find it in my topics under homosexuality.

Hope this helps. If you have any questions about the article then contact me again. My view is God’s view. I only tell others what God Himself says about a subject like this.

I don’t want to offend anyone, but by showing God’s point of view about homosexuality, maybe I can help some to avoid the consequences of this sin which will be the eternal lake of fire. I don’t make the rules, God does and it’s our free will choice to choose which way to go. God’s way or Satan’s way which leads to eternal death in the lake of fire.

Sorry man, but salvation is thru grace we accept the Holy Spirit, not thru works.
Are you perfect? Which laws of God have you broken?
Which are acceptable so you can still keep your salvation?
        Which aren’t?
Who decides which is which and how much is too much?

He answered and said he was not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel, straight from the son of God ‘s mouth . And the israelites today is the decedent’s from the transatlantic slave trade who was distributed to all the nations who everyone in the world hate and despise.

I have been studying the dispensation of the gospel of grace that Paul taught for about 12 years and i agree what you have written so far we all have some difference even with the grace message but salvation comes with what Jesus did as 1st Corinth 15:1-4 says and that is what makes us saved by grace then were baptised by the Spirit into the body 1st Corinth.12:13 and we then walk after the spirit not the flesh (law ) .
